Bill Randall was the first friend I made when we moved to Vestavia in 1961. We are still best friends now and he is missed by many. He had the greatest sense of humor and one of the smartest guys in the world. We tooled around in his 64 Volvo sports car untill he got the 68 Firebird 400 and we zoomed. We drank beer and doubled dated for uncountable pasture parties at Lake Purdy on Friday nights. The girls did not always like it but Lordy it was fun. I miss his friendship and the times we spent together.
