Funeral services for David McGilvary Moore, 64, of Cullman will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel; with interment with military honors in Garden City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from noon to 2 p.m.
Hanceville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Moore passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at his residence. He is survived by three children, Heather Moore, Wendy Moore and Chad Moore; grandchildren, Joshua Koch, Gabby Koch and Jacob Koch and two brothers, Joe Moore and Mike Moore.

I only knew David at Berry H.S. as being this great big guy on the football team. We met in college and hit it off immediately. We were roommates for several semesters. I graduated one year before he did and went into the Army for 22 years. I was in his wedding to Lynda. He followed into the Army for 7 years and then got out. He was always a great guy to be around. I knew his wife Lynda, his parents, his grandmother and his two brothers (Mike and Joe). Hoooah Big Dave!!!!
