I then moved to Austin, Texas where my younger son lives. I sold my house in Bluff Park and moved into the house my younger son bought. Comment: I moved to Birmingham from Florida my senior year in high school. Turned out to be a wonderful move for me! Attended Alabama where I met my husband of 50 years. He wrestled for Alabama, and after graduation we joined Campus Crusade for Christ and Athletes in Action where we were able to travel the country, Canada and Mexico. He traveled all over Eastern Europe representing USA teams in many tournaments including the World Games, Pan Am games and Olympics. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and retired in 2018! Bob has his own business and our youngest son will be taking over soon. We have 4 children and 12 grandchildren who all live near us in Florida.

Comment: After graduating from the University of Montevallo in 1973 and working a few years in Atlanta and Birmingham, I moved to Baton Rouge and graduated from LSU with a masters in social work in 1978. My husband, John, and I lived in Baton Rouge for 3 years before moving to north Louisiana. We have two children, Ian (25) and Jane (23), who are currently attending graduate schools in Chattanooga, TN and Ruston, LA respectively. In 1997, I received my masters in theatre and currently act and direct in several local theatres. I work professionally as a mental health consultant parttime and we enjoy traveling throughout the world.

Comment: Mike & I are so excited to be available on these dates in April – good Lord willing & creek don’t rise! We’ve been married since we were juniors @ Auburn – met on a blind date my freshman year. Would you believe Mike was still in high school, but I didn’t know it at the time – thank heavens – or we’d never have had that first date and not be married to this day! Our family is mostly boys – two sons, one daughter-in-law, and recently one grandson. Eldest son, Jeffrey, and his wife, Christi, moved back to Auburn (where they also met, incidentally) in July….he joined an ophthalmology practice there and makes the third one in the group - Medical Arts Eye Clinic. Our second son, David, lives in Chicago and is in his second year of five for an ENT residency @ Rush University Medical School. They must have both taken after their mother! We have lived in Mobile for over 24 years (from Auburn to Birmingham to Dothan to Mobile). We’re still lovin’ living in this beautiful, coastal, historical city that has already celebrated its 300^th birthday. Mike, a CPA, has practiced in healthcare administration all this time in Mobile, and I’ve been mostly a part-time career woman, wife, mom, and now a memaw. Comment: One of many from our class that started at Auburn the summer of '69 watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon from the TV room of Mag Dorm. Went on to finish BS in Biology in '73, MS in Zoology in '75 then PhD in Parasitology from University of Illinois Vet School in '80. Still married to Ramsey '71 grad Glauce Raybon after 41 years. Second career in medical sales started in '83 and still selling Zeiss Surgical Microscopes today. Now we spend our free time re-adapting old furniture for resale and working on our rental cabins and second home in Mentone, AL.

Comment: After Berry High School I attended the University of Alabama, 2009 National Champions (Roll Tide!) where I got a BS degree in the college of C&BA. I lettered four year on the Bama wrestling team earning an athletic scholarship my last 3 years. I left Alabama to enter service with the USMC flying the A-6 Intruder, and A-4 Skyhawk. I spent 3 years instructing at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. It was there that I met my wife Carol. We have been married for 30 wonderful years this May. We have one son who will be 20 years old on March 31th. I have been a pilot for Southwest Airlines since 1983, now flying as Captain on the Boeing 737, and serving as a check airman as well. I am looking forward to seeing and spending as much time as possible with all my Berry friends . See you there.

Comment: An interesting journey since Berry where I went onto Auburn to supervise Gerald until '73 graduation. His blog seems benign but he was a hellian! Went into child welfare for the good State of Alabama for the next 30 years and enjoyed getting paid for something I loved. Home is now Florida where I am able to be a part of my 9 month old Hunter's life as his Gran. I was blessed with one (1) gorgeous redhead who got her hellian genes from her Uncle Gerald and has since morphed into someone who amazes me. Looking forward to the reunion and laughing, dancing, and fellowshiping with some pretty remarkable people.

Comment: Let me correct and embellish my profile since you guys have taken the liberty. I have nine grandchildren and one on the way. After Berry I floundered until I turned my life over to The Lord Jesus Christ in 1975. Drugs and alcohol almost destroyed me. I married and we had 3 wonderful children who are all saved and are active in their respective churches. I worked 33 years with AT&T enjoying a mundane career and 28 years with The Air National Guard where I was a Master Sergeant in The Intelligence Field. I then was divorced and now have married a wonderful woman thus adding another daughter, son and two more grandsons. Life is good. God is good!
