After Berry High School I attended the University of Alabama, 2009 National Champions (Roll Tide!) where I got a BS degree in the college of C&BA. I lettered four year on the Bama wrestling team earning an athletic scholarship my last 3 years. I left Alabama to enter service with the USMC flying the A-6 Intruder, and A-4 Skyhawk. I spent 3 years instructing at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. It was there that I met my wife Carol. We have been married for 30 wonderful years this May. We have one son who will be 20 years old on March 31th. |

I live outside of Pensacola, Florida in Gulf Breeze- near the beach. I used to live on the beach but 2 hurricanes were enough to go through.I have been married to Jerry Williams for almost 10 yrs. I retired (wore out) in 2001 from teaching in the B'ham. City Schools System. Now I substitute teach and enjoy the freedom to visit my son, mom, and siblings in Hoover. I'm very active at my church, Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze. I'm walking with the Lord and loving it- what took me so long? I look forward to the reunion. My "date" will be my brother-in-law Jim Deason.He came to the last reunion with me too. Do I have to wear a dress?? I am so used to jeans and flip flops! Proverbs 3:5-6 son, Flynn King, 24 Hoover,AL stepson, JR Williams,26 in VA step daughter, Merrie Frances Hawks in WV step grandkids -Taylor 11 Caroline 6 dog- Charley 8, part chow and schnauzer |
